6 officials of ICT Department ordered to refrain from performing duties
The Directorate of ICT has issued instructions to prevent six officials of offices/organizations/companies under the purview of the Directorate of Information and Communication Technology as various complaints have been raised against them and the complaints are under investigation.
Those who have been instructed to refrain from temporary duties are - Bangladesh Computer Council Data Center In-charge and Manager (Testing) Mohammad Saiful Alam Khan; Administrator (Firewall and IPS) Rajan Das; Bangladesh Data Center Company Limited Manager (Generation System) AKM Latiful Kabir; Manager (Logistics) Md. Ikramul Haque; Manager (Branding & Marketing) Ranjit Kumar and Security Officer Rustam Ali.
This information was revealed on Thursday in a letter signed by the Deputy Secretary of Directorate of Information and Communication Technology Md. Zillur Rahman. In the signed letter, the said six officials of the two institutions have been requested to take necessary measures to prevent them from performing their official duties.
